The Story Matters

Hi fellow scrappers! My name is Ashleigh! I live in a {Small} town in Illinois. I have been with my husband for 5 years and married for a year and a half. We have a wonderful, 6 month old, sweet, little baby boy named Breckon. In my {SpAre} time, I LOVE to design cards and invitations. I find myself spending more time on this then scrapbooking *much less mess!* I create and sell my cards on Etsy...If you have never visited be prepared to waste the next 5 hours! :D

I have been scrapbooking since I was in 8th grade. {That seems like forever ago!} I have worked at two scrapbook stores and loved every minute. The inspiration and bond I have gained from the environment of these stores has kept me scrapbooking all these years. After college I was hired as a computer teacher in an elementary school and soon after being married had to stop working the scrapbook store gig and focus on my {NEW} family. The last 2 years have been a wonderful turn of the page in my book of life that God has created for me. All the more reason to scrap right?!

When I was asked to be the guest designer I was shocked, surprised, nervous, and excited all at the same time. I couldn't believe they asked me! {ME? ReAlLy?} I have had a lot of fun with this kit and making the LO's you will find below. I hope you enjoy the kit as much as I did!

Playing Catch Up

Ok so I decided to create a blog showing {JUST} my work! And since I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years, I have A LOT to blog about. I will slowly but surly try to get some LO's up that are from the past, and current! So...here we go!

Halloween Crop {at Scrapaganza!}

A week ago, the old scrapbook store I use to work at was having a Halloween scrapbook crop. It was from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. I thought what a great day to force myself to get a lot done! That being said, I asked my scrap buddy and of course friend if she wanted to go. We of course spent the first hour talking, another grand total of an hour probably snacking, walking around the store, and eat lunch, and then of course spent about 6-7 hours scrapbooking. We were able to get so much done and were home at a decent time! I left by 8:30 and felt good about what I had accomplished! Here are all my layouts!

{Totally not my colors, BUT I love it!!!}

{The whole point in the quote on this LO was because Luke's hand is on Breckon's head, not that you can see it! grrr}

{I still have to add the journaling on the card with the owl for this one}
